Anna Healy James is a seasoned government relations and public affairs expert with more than two decades of experience navigating the intersection of policy, politics and business.  She has served under two Virginia governors and most recently Senior Vice President of the largest health system in the Commonwealth, where she led strategic advocacy, external relations and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Anna brings deep expertise in healthcare, procurement, energy, K-12 and higher education and the state appropriations and finance process.  Her leadership has shaped complex legislative initiatives and regulatory strategies across multiple sectors resulting in billions of dollars in contracts and appropriations.  She has also overseen the strategic deployment of hundreds of millions of dollars in corporate giving, aligning philanthropic investments with organizational goals and community impact.
